Add to this confrontational pairing, 2 young teachers, in love, but constantly goaded by school leavers Reilly and Digga, and it is not long before a routine school trip becomes a riotous romp!
Sweets are pinched from a roadside café, pets are nicked from the Zoo, Conway Castle gets invaded, the beach is the backdrop for more than one show-down and a trip to the fair is a great leveller!
Through out the day one pupil, Carol, discovers happiness and meaning in an otherwise bleak existence and realises that there is a basic humanity and kindness in us all.
