All The Great Books (abridged)

By Reed Martin and Austin Tichenor

Synopsis:

More than 50 books. Less than 90 minutes.

Join three of Next Stage's most intrepid actors as they attempt to bring to the stage the greatest novels from Western Literature. They have all the style, flair and talent required to take you on this fast-paced, exhilarating rollercoaster ride, and who cares if their props, scenery and depth of knowledge are occasionally somewhat creative. Who says that The Iliad can't be summarised in rhyming couplets? Or that you can't do all 1475 pages of Tolstoy's War and Peace in 10 minutes? And if all else fails...improvise!

Take a deep breath and fasten your seatbelts - this hilarious plunge into All The Great Books (although the list, of course, is purely subjective) is the perfect antidote to the Autumn blues!
